How PureLiving VPN works and why the local DNS-filter design is safer than a traditional remote VPN model.
PureLiving VPN uses Android VPN permission to run a local DNS filter on the device. It is not designed to send all browsing traffic through SimplyLearnStuff servers.
The app can process domain-name requests such as a website domain that an app or browser wants to resolve. This is needed to decide whether the domain should be blocked, allowed, or handled with SafeSearch rules.
The app does not decrypt HTTPS traffic and does not install a certificate authority. It is not designed to read banking passwords, payment card numbers, OTPs, account balances, private messages, or form contents inside secure websites.
Banking and payment apps normally use encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. PureLiving VPN checks the domain-name layer and should not be able to read the encrypted banking/payment content. If a legitimate app is disrupted by filtering, it can be added to the app bypass list.
PureLiving VPN is not an antivirus. It does not remove malware, detect fake apps, prevent scam calls, secure weak passwords, or guarantee protection against all phishing and harmful content.
